The official rules are (as any official rules usually are) a little hard to parse. One thing's for sure, sending the postcard is as good as getting the maximum number of points. The question is, do these "points" equal sightings? Looks like the don't, like you get points more rapidly, but I'm not 100% sure. So I sent the postcard. You may be right, Matt.
